Michaela is a civil and commercial litigator. During her articles with a reputable Bay Street firm, Michaela gained exposure to a broad range of litigation practice areas including commercial, employment and labour, civil sexual assault, family, administrative law and professional discipline.

Michaela has experience assisting with mediations, arbitrations and matters before the Ontario Court of Appeal. She has appeared on matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and Construction Lien court.

Michaela graduated from the University of Ottawa with a J.D. and a Concentration in Dispute Resolution and Professionalism. During law school, Michaela was selected to be a competitor in the Walsh Family Law Moot in 2016 and was later asked to return the next year as a Student Coach for that moot. Michaela was also a founding member of the Social Determinants of Health Clinic, while acting as a Research Assistant for various professors and a Junior Editor for the Canadian Journal of Women and the Law.

In her spare time, Michaela volunteers with local organizations including the Hospital for Sick Children as a Child Life Volunteer.
